Award-winning Canadian filmmaker, Derek Lukosius is a Bachelor of Film and Media Production graduate who's been working in the film industry for nearly five years. In 2016, Derek proudly won the prestigious Hamilton Arts Award for Emerging Media Artist.

As a staff member in camping for a decade, along the way, Derek began to specialize in the instruction of Film, Photography and New Media interest sessions across multiple summer camps. While his own films have screened at festivals all around the world, his film Camp Kenneth, which was produced along with campers in a former program, proudly won an award with festival judge Bruce Clark, DOP of Canada’s Worst Driver, calling it “guerilla filmmaking at its best!”

In 2017, Derek completed his feature film directorial debut which premiered across North America. His passion for the craft of filmmaking is only rivaled by his dedication to the camping industry and passing along his knowledge and skills to other emerging artists.

Graduate of the Film Production program at Confederation College, Kyle Hytonen dillegently focused his studies on location audio recording and post production audio. Since his post-secondary education, Kyle has taken his microphones on projects across the world, from documentaries to short form, to feature films.

Gathering sounds of rivers, animals, and forest ambiances in even the furthest reaches of the wilderness, Kyle has assembled an extensive library of incredible natural outdoors sounds. Needless to say, his affinity for the outdoors is attributed to his early years spent in the great north of Thunder Bay Ontario.

Since moving south, Kyle has provided sound recording and mixing services for a variety of directors across the GTA. In 2016, Kyle was honored with an Arts Award for Media Arts for his audio work. Kyle enjoys camping, hiking, fishing and canoeing in his spare time.

Andrew's passion for the stage can be seen front and center through the productions he's been apart of. His previous productions credits include: Clifford Bradshaw in Cabaret, Billy Crocker in Anything Goes, Freddie in For This Moment Alone, Dancock in Dancock’s Dance.

As he continues his foray into In film producing, Andrew never forgets his roots in theatre and film performance. Andrew spends his summers working with kids as the Camp Director of Camp Can-Aqua.
